While elements of many poems firmly date them in the mythic past (\u201cAeole and Odysseus on the Line,\u201d \u201cPoe and His Women\u201d and \u201cUriel\u201d among others), the transgressive angels, hungry vampires, and defiant witches have been replaced by their more modern counterparts in others (\u201cPresentism Core\u201d and \u201cUnquiet House\u201d).
