Nickolson explains many lessons for young readers while also introducing aspects that children enjoy, including animals and magic cars. The book is one of those happy little read-alouds that dive into a world where friendship, love, and affection come into a child’s mind when they read the story. The book is great for teaching children how to read, how to be kind, and that things can be wonderful. The content is primarily focused on younger readers, and the narrative sort of drags. Anyone older than a preschooler will find it extremely tedious.
