Extraordinary and unforgettable…

Starace debuts with this excellent YA supernatural, featuring a teenager with exceptional abilities, trying to make the world a better place. Sixteen-year-old Adam is constantly haunted by strange dreams that leave him exhausted and confused. When Adam learns that his dreams are connected to real people and situations, he finds himself entangled in a deep web of impossible dangers. Adam must use his special powers carefully if he wants to help others. Starace creates a fascinating world rife with magical realism elements that features constantly interesting characters. Adam is a realistic, relatable protagonist. The secondary characters are unique, satisfyingly complex, and thoroughly compelling. Starace’s narration feels intimate, especially when he portrays his protagonist’s potent struggle. Adam’s supernatural ability to get into someone else’s mind keeps the narrative tense, as readers wonder who or what is at the root of those powers. The final showdown will have readers asking for more of Starace’s work. This is a sure-shot hit.
